An exciting opportunity has arisen for an excellent Marketing Communications Manager to join an expanding technical manufacturing company on a fixed contract of 18 months.

The suitable candidate will primarily be responsible for the management of all Marketing Communications across four diverse product ranges. They will join a small but busy marketing team to help drive initiatives and provide support to the global sales team.

They will also be involved in a wide range of marketing activities including market research, digital campaigns and product launches.

This is an interesting and diverse role with four very different products each with differing challenges and routes to market.

The core duties will include :

Marketing budget management
Develop effective MarComm campaigns to support the delivery of strategic objectives
Management of all MarComms such as brochures, videos, e-marketing, datasheets, adverts, exhibition artwork, corporate LinkedIn account and presentations.
Communication of brand values, positioning and strategy to both our internal and external audiences
Management of 5 websites, 2 of which are available in 7 languages (using CMS)
Design and deliver integrated communications initiatives to support planned product launches
Develop and implement brand awareness and lead generation campaigns
Attend 4-monthly product meetings and present an overview of marketing activities and performance
Measure and evaluate all MarComms activities
Management of an experienced marketing executive whose main responsibilities include Event Management and Creative Design.
Work with external agencies to provide the necessary communication campaigns and materials.
Write copy
Approve and procure translations (via a supplier)
Support Duties will include :
Market Research to support the development of product group market intelligence - either by in-house desk based research or identification of relevant third party research
Production of market or product related data / statistics
Occasional travel to support customer facing personnel or to visit external marketing service providers

The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the B2B marketing arena preferably from the Industrial, Manufacturing or Engineering sectors. They will be degree qualified or educated to IDM/CIM level and be able to demonstrate a track record of achievement in a Digital MarComms Management role.
Advanced PC skills, including Acrobat, Outlook, Word, excel and PowerPoint are essential and a history of using CRM/CMS systems would be beneficial. Proficiency in the creation and use of Gantt charts and knowledge of HTML, Firefox and Illustrator would also be advantageous.
The successful applicant will also have proven organisational and project management skills and excellent communications skills.
Fluency in a foreign language is desired although not essential.
