Infrastructure Architect
Will have experience designing and implementing complex and scalable infrastructure architectures. You are a results oriented technologist who can communicate well, and are a hands-on architect. You are driven to work with leading infrastructure and data platforms to solve complex problems simply.
Have a proven ability to learn new technologies and skills quickly, Must be a passionate technologist who is has experience designing, implementing and maintaining infrastructure architectures that scale
? Must be a great written and verbal communicator
? Have a bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, business administration or a related discipline
? Ideally have prior experience in Consulting/Professional Services
SKILLS
? 4+ years experience designing and implementing infrastructure architectures for a large production website
? 2+ years VMware vSphere / ESXi / ESX experience
? 2+ years experience in datacenter operations
? 2+ years experience in network administration, production database support or website support
? Expert knowledge of Linux / Unix systems
? Experience with production systems and dealing with production issues
? A clear understanding of cloud service and deployment models
? 1+ years OpenStack, AWS or VMware vCloud experience
? Experience with a platform as a service product such as Cloud Foundry, Heroku, Elastic Beanstalk, or similar
? 2+ years experience with Chef, Puppet, BOSH, or related automation / orchestration tools
? Some experience working with DNS, NTP, SAML
? Solid understanding of systems monitoring, alerting and analytics (NewRelic, Cacti, Graphite, Logstash, Nagios, Ganglia, Splunk, vCOPS, Hyperic, etc.)
? A software development or DevOps automation background is a big plus
