Description

This is a new requirement for an Electification and Plant Engineer at a large Rail client based in Birmingham. It is a 26 week contract with negotiable daily rate Dependent on experience.

Our client has provided us with a brief list of principal accountabilities, including:

Holding responsibility for the co-ordination, planning, installation and commissioning of Principal Supply Points (PSP) and Functional Supply Points (FSP), UPS Systems, Non Maintained & Maintained Switchgear and Electrical distribution networks.

Liasing with designers, manufacturers, sub-contractors, DNO suppliers, supervision of sub-contractors, programming/scheduling of possession & non possession works and review work package plans and task briefs.

Attending design reviews, progress meetings with sub-contractors and supporting the overall E&P project programme.

Our client has also specified a number of competencies which are essential to the effective performance in this role;

The ability to manage innovation and to develop for the future, including learning on the fly.
