Description
Configuration Manager is required to undertake the following:

Define and Implement Configuration Management processes to control the storage, retention and baselining of Configuration Items, manage packages of CIs for release and deployment, maintain version control of CIs within a formal repository and follow industry standard CM principles including CMMI.

Define and Implement Change Management processes to control Change Requests and construct releases using appropriate version control ensuring that all packages contain mandated changes.

Understand and use appropriate tools to exercise full Configuration Management of components for multiple projects/systems.

Collect and monitor CM metrics and implement process improvement opportunities.

Perform local CM verification activities

Stay current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies
The following experience is required/desirable:
Technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 years experience of Configuration Management in a large enterprise.
Good understanding of Enterprise Configuration Management technologies eg StarTeam;
Good understanding of Configuration and Release Management principles and industry standards eg CMMI and ITIL.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
