VMWare Ops Analyst
Key Skills - VMWare(5.1), Microsoft Active Directory, NetApp, SQL, MCP or MCSE
Proactively deliver, support, maintain and provision global system operations within agreed system availability KPIs.
Key Responsibilities & Critical Success Measures
- Proactively share knowledge with other team members, updating and documenting procedures.
- Proactively advise, assist and engage on delivery of underlying technical infrastructure to support technical projects
- Define implementation, operational and support methods and standards for agreed technical rollouts in conjunction with project teams;
- Proactively monitor and maintain systems within system availability targets set by the business
- Problem, configuration & release management via Service Desk IT CMBD
- Suggest ways of improving existing procedures and tasks using current & new technologies
- Ability to deliver Projects, also where required involvement in project architecture, scope & Bring into Service
- Ensuring that all calls are fully updated in the Service Desk IT CMBD and knowledgebase solutions are updated accordingly
- Establish successful relationships with end-users and other team members, whilst living the values
- Cross train key technologies within the team
