JOB DESCRIPTION:This position will support the QC chemistry department. Daily roles include washing analytical glassware, management of hazardous waste, maintenance and organization of common areas, and ordering/stocking of supplies. The candidate will need to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-oriented, team laboratory environment. High productivity and the ability to multi-task coupled with a low error rate and attention to detail are critical characteristics of this position. The successful candidate must also have demonstrated the ability to quickly learn new skills/techniques.

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
An understanding of basic chemistry concepts is required. Ability to work in a team environment and support the laboratory from a customer service standpoint. This position works with cephalosporins. AAS, BA/BS, or MS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related science preferred. Must have experience with Chemistry, Maintain Lab Equipment.
