Our prestigious Healthcare client is looking for a Cerner Conversion Lead for a permanent position to be based in Doha, Qatar.

The Cerner Conversion lead will have deep knowledge of cutover and Go-live of Cerner Millennium into our client's facilities. Responsible for the development of the Conversion Plan, Strategy and rollout of the Cerner solution to the facilities of our client. The conversion lead will liaise with the workstream leads involved with the delivery of the Cerner solution to ensure that all activities, dependencies, timings are collated and validated in the plan

Key Accountabilities:

  • Prepare and lead conversion workstream at our client facilities
  • Facilitate and provide guidance during the conversion planning, strategy development and dress rehearsals (where applicable)
  • Liaise with other workstreams leads both internal and external to build the conversion plan
  • Manage and guide management (internal and external) through the Authority to proceed at each defined stage of the conversion process
  • Manage the Statement of Work for the Go-live workstream and ensure deliverables are submitted
  • Understand and participate with any change requests and be able to demonstrate what the impacts to Go-live will be
  • Highlight and manage risks impacting the Go-live workstream
  • Understand and have experience of the challenges of implementing a solution into a healthcare environment
  • Maintain all tools and documentation utilised by the conversion workstream
  • Apply a good working relationship with our client's partner
  • Knowledge Transfer activities will be conducted to our client's conversion resource
  • Able to create, manage and progress the conversion plan and a rollback plan
  • Create and apply the strategy for conversion
  • Understand the interdependencies between the various workstreams involved with the delivery of the Cerner solution at our clients facilities
  • Be able to apply understanding, knowledge and experience of implementing a Cerner solution into a facility/facilities.
  • Be able to highlight any constraints and be able to apply out of the box thinking
  • Apply lessons learned from previous deployments and also during the rollouts of our client

Qualification:

Education

  • Undergraduate degree and 2-4 years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 4-5 years relevant experience

Experience

  • In-depth discipline knowledge, experience and understanding of implementation of Cerner solutions into a healthcare environment
  • Introduces and contributes to the development of new techniques and plans within area of expertise.
  • Thorough understanding and management of customer expectations.
  • Applied knowledge and understands the work stream project plan
  • Expert within Healthcare conversion
  • Cerner implementation experience
  • Provides deep subject matter expertise, advice and program delivery
  • Understands the core business process and purpose of the functional area.

Job Specific Skills and Abilities

  • Expert knowledge of conversion development and implementation, project management and analytical/problem solving skills.
  • Leadership experiences of an Conversion workstream
  • Leadership of a large team
