A Company Secretary is currently required to work at a leading investment management company. As well as general, day to day secretarial duties in relation to group subsidiaries, this individual will act as the main secretarial point of contact to the groups pension trustee company. With this in mind, knowledge and experience of pensions and governance of corporate trustees is important.
Other responsibilities associated to this role include providing technical advice to boards and other parties, production of annual reports, supporting the company's year end process and reviewing policies.
This role requires a consistent background working as a Company Secretary and either a ICSA, ACIS or FCIS qualification. Knowledge of the Companies Act (2006) is preferable, whilst experience working within a large corporate organisation will be looked upon very fondly.
