Education and Training
A higher secondary education and intermediate vocational training with at least one year experience in remotely controlling a geographically dispersed automated network and systems, or a secondary education and completed advanced vocational training with one year post related experience.
Professional experience
Must have a sound Telecommunications background with a minimum of one-year experience and experienced as follows:
Sound practical experience of the maintenance of packet switched networks, bandwidth management equipment, data/voice multiplexers ie NET Promina & Alcatel service/edge Routers.
Experience with network event monitoring and event management ie SNMP & Syslog Working knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) toolsets.
Good working knowledge of the incident management process
Demonstrate a significant knowledge of secure information systems and their management. Desirably, NATO or military background.
