Introduction
Our clients Applications products are critical elements in the semiconductor manufacturing process. The products are created by a team of several hundred developers .
The Software Development Tooling and Infra team positioned within the Development & Engineering department, ensures that the developers have the right tooling and infrastructure to develop software efficiently and effectively. Together with IT department, it fulfils the develops functions. The SDTI team is relatively new and is slowly expanding its scope within the organization.
Job Mission
Together with the other members of the team you maintain/develop tools and keep the infrastructure in optimal condition. You help to expand the team's scope and build its reputation as being responsive and reliable.
Job Description
As a Tooling and Infra developer you maintain/develop tools and keep the infrastructure in optimal condition. Actual tasks will be assigned based on the work items and your skills.
Tools are typically written in Scripting languages like Unix Shell Scripts, python. The operating systems used in our products and in our development environment are Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows.
The developers work with C# and Java. A Configuration Management System is in place, based on ClearCase and ClearQuest. We are currently running a pilot with Jira/Git.
Education
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology.
Experience
You have at least 2 years experience in a similar position. You have experience with several Scripting languages languages (bash, Windows Powershell, python, Perl), with software configuration management and with several test techniques. Preferably you are familiar with the agile work method and open source solutions.
Personal skills
You are flexible, result driven, have a "make it happen attitude". You are a good communicator and a self starter. You have an eye for detail and are accurate in the work execution.
You can combine pragmatism in execution with a structural process approach.
