Next Ventures are currently searching for a Window Desk Top SME (Printing Architect).

We are looking for a SME Desktop with good communication skills and the capability to work autonomously, organizing and accompanying the strategy of the business and IT-infrastructure.
The workstations provided by IS4F are not only traditional FATs anymore, but are mainly on a centralized SBC Citrix platform and VDI.

Responsibilities:

- Make Print server design (locations, segregation, version, etc).
- Write technical documents related to this printing design.
- Set up driver management (x64, Citrix, VDI, FAT )
- Manage and set-up and test universal print drivers.
- Set - up the Print management Tool (existing or new).
- Evaluate existing Print management tool that is actually used under XP/server 2003 (rescripting from VB Scripting to Power

Work location is Brussels, local office presence required.

Technical skills

- Knowledge of architecture methods Ability (by experience or motivation to learn) to create architecture work products: system context, use cases, functional and non-functional requirements, architecture overview, architecture decision, component model, operational model, migration plan, tests plan.
- Ability to support Project Managers in the elaboration of the detailed project schedules Knowledge of SE-SI method appreciated
- Architecture documents/assets created during the project will be published into iRAM/pRAM (possibly after slight re-work)
- Thorough understanding of standard Microsoft Windows business workplace architectures. (64bit/Windows 8.1/Windows Server 2012R2)
- The Printing architect requires an in-depth understanding and experience

Fluent in English, both writing and speaking.

Good knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus

Extension beyond March is likely.
