For a project at our banking client site in Zurich, we are looking for aShared Services Finance Business Partner for General Counsel (2649)
Shared Services CFO is recognized as the single source of financial & service information and trusted advisor to the Shared Services Clients i.e. for the various Shared Services functions such as General Counsel (Legal and Compliance).
Key responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate and appropriate strategic financial planning and annual budgeting, on-going expense forecasting and correct cost accounting for General Counsel
• Actively support our clients to meet their financial targets whilst continually improving ShS Finance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage a small team, which will be supported off-shore
• Stakeholder management is a key objective with the individual providing financial support across both the direct expenses and associated IT related costs
Your qualifications:
• A University degree or an equivalent educational background, preferably with a major in accounting / finance or a recognized accounting qualification (e.g. Swiss Certified Accountant/ Fachausweis)
• Minimum of 8 years of working experience in the area of Finance, Controlling, Accounting, Planning, Business Analytics or Strategy & Projects
• Solid knowhow in controlling
• It will be critical that the candidate is a self-starter with a hands-on attitude and can quickly understand the financials and the key drivers behind the numbers to provide both Shared Services Finance management and clients with the required level of transparency behind the financials
• Practical, flexible and delivery-focused personality; comfortable working in a fast-paced environments with changing priorities
• Strong communicator who can comfortably operate amongst senior management, being able to negotiate with the key clients to drive both the Shared Services Finance mandate as well as provide them with excellent financial support and advice
• Strong knowledge in MS Office in particular in Excel
• Fluency in English, good German skills is an advantage
