2* Field Scopers - Pit & Pipe
My client a leading Telecommunications Company seeks 2 x Field Scopers to undertake Field Inspection and Simplex Scoping duties to support the contract deliverables for NBN Access Network Delivery within a field network environment.
Location: Tweed Heads, QLD
Responsibilities include:
- Meet all Health Safety & Environment requirement of working in Telstra Access Network.
- Engage with resident and customers in relation to field validation and survey of the MTM design where required.
- Perform field based validation & survey activities of the MTM design;
- Work collaboratively with Project Managers, Design Specialists, Field Inspection and Supervisors and Technical Specialist to deliver accountabilities in the agreements with NBN Co;
- Undertake field assessment,verification and development of alternative design options
Identify & validate irremediable duct sections - Perform quality auditing of data collected as part of the field scoping works.
- Monitor contractors compliance to HSE procedures whilst working in Telstra Network
- Provide a responsive escalation point for Field Inspection Team Leader on constructor performance.
Experience and skills required:
- Knowledge of both the Copper and fibre networks.
- Sound knowledge on Pit & Pipe networks.
- Solid understanding of telecommunications civil construction practices
- Experience in the telecommunications civil field - highly regarded
