Our client, a large audit/consultancy firm is looking to recruit a number of external auditors to take on some contract work in and around London.
Role description
Working with the Infrastructure, Services & Real Estate ( ISRE ) audit group in London giving you the opportunity to work on a broad range of clients across a number of sectors including infrastructure and construction, real estate investment and development (corporate and funds) and the variety of the UK's services sector. Our client base includes FTSE 100 and 250 companies; private companies and funds. By joining this varied group you will have the opportunity to develop and achieve your career aspirations. Responsibilities
You will have responsibility for:
- Audit planning
- Day to day management of field teams
- Review of audit work
- Liaison with key client staff
- Management of reporting requirements, including attendance at meetings.
- Lead teams on challenging engagements, including transaction and project work
- Develop and mentor more junior members of staff
- Involvement in tendering for new clients
Requirements
To qualify for the role you must have:
- Educated to degree level
- A professional accounting qualification (ACA or equivalent)
- Knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
- Experience with ISRE clients will be an advantage
