This is a fantastic opportunity to join our client, one of world's leading Pharma and M&E Consulting Engineers. They are currently looking for a Systems Analyst. This is a contract position.

Responsibilities:

Systems Analyst

The Systems Analyst will be part of a team responsible for implementing a new payroll system. The System Analyst requirement covers the whole product life cycle, from requirements through design, testing and delivery of the system into production. It requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work under your own initiative as well as experience of dealing with software development teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the business to fully understand the project requirements

  • Liaise with the vendor to resolve technical issues and identify solutions

  • Define the data mapping required for migrating Legacy data to new system

  • Work with project team on defining and configuring a SAP interface to the payroll system

  • Assist the Project Manager when identifying and mitigating technical risks

  • Support the Project Manager in the preparation of timescales and adherence to schedule

  • Prepare Project validation deliverables ie Validation Plan, Requirements, Design, Test Plan, Test documentation, Validation Report

  • Execute test scripts, prepare defect reports and Test Summary Report

  • Resolve technical issues arising during the project/product life cycle

  • Provide on-going support to the existing payroll system

  • Ensure ongoing compliance with Corporate Quality Standards and Practices

Skills required:

Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience supporting IT applications

Background in software development and systems analysis/configuration

Experience of application installation and formalised approach to Change Control

Experience in Product life cycles from gathering of customers requirement through design to system delivery and acceptance. Customer facing experience is also desired

Past proven experience engaging business users to ensure that appropriate business needs are clearly defined, communicated and delivered at or above expectations

Strong oral and written communication skills are required, with proven ability to communicate and build relationships cross-functionally.

Self-motivated, ability to work independently
