Experimental Physics Junior
My client a leader in its field are looking to recruit an Experimental Physics Junior for an initial 4-6 month contract.
To supplement the multi disciplined Medical Innovation engineering team, support new product development with respect to the feasibility studies, design, theoretical modelling and testing of new physical solutions for my client and support testing and product validation and verification.
Principal responsibilities
Responsible for
Study new concepts and prototyping for bringing or solving new solutions for my clients projects
Design, implementation and execution of testing in the Healthcare Laboratory for feasibility study of new possible projects.
Theoretical modelling of possible project solutions in order to speed up the project development and minimize the risks associated to the project and the final customers.
Support to the team in system design.
Collaboration in the risk analysis of the concept design and the associated mitigations.
Development report writing for the project Design History File.
Develop test specifications, limits and protocols for production.
Issue tracking and resolution based on change control procedure.
Support in component selection and device architecture.
Required key skills (functional/technical)
Technical competency.
Working knowledge of lab technology (eg. Measurement instrumentation, etc)
Strong analytical approach.
Working knowledge in the simulation of physical problems, preferably using information tools (eg.
Matlab)
Good practical problem fault finding and debugging.
Basic knowledge in analogue and digital electronic.
Basic knowledge programming (eg. In c language).
Advanced informatics user.
Soldering skill
Writing report skill
Required qualifications/experience
Preferred
BSc Experimental Physicist or similar.
BSc Electronic, Electrical Engineering or software Engineering with demonstrated experience working
in lab environment.
Considered
Medical device development experience (preferred) or other regulated industry experience.
Experience in working with international teams
