Senior .NET Developer - C# - ASP .NET - SQL Server - WCF - MVC - Visual Studio - Council - CMS

I am currently recruiting for a Senior .NET Developer on behalf of a council based in London. This is a contract role (C# ASP.NET) that will run for a minimum of 6 months with extensions already planned.

As a Senior .NET Developer (C# ASP.NET) the main project you will be assigned to will be integrating Front End systems with the councils Back End systems using API's.

You will also be involved in Re-designing the councils corporate website so extensive experience in WCF, C#, ASP.NET and Designing Web Services.

Sitecore (CMS) is in use at the council however exposure to a similar CMS is ok.

From a technical perspective, the Senior Developer 'must have' skills are essential:

  • WCF Services
  • C# - ASP.NET
  • XML - XSLT
  • Serialisation
  • Web Design
  • MVC is desirable

    • Non Technical Requirements Include:

  • Manage own time and work to deadlines
  • Working with Source Control Tools
  • Experience of working with Bug Tracking Tools
  • Teamwork
  • Working with Business Analysts and Project Managers

    • Desirable or 'Nice to Have' Skills Include:

  • MVC
  • C# .NET 2.0/3,5
  • JavaScript
  • CRM/CMS
