Job Purpose:
Working for a global investment bank providing Infrastructure support of all in-Country activities. You will be supporting a population of 2300+ users in Ireland and Jersey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilizes good understanding of technology infrastructure procedures and concepts and basic knowledge of other technical areas to provide support to users for application, software, hardware and network issues.
- Diagnoses and resolves problems through troubleshooting and basic analysis in the following areas: client operations, release management, change management, problem management, quality and optimization, compliance and COB, voice and data technology support.
- Escalates issues as appropriate to next level support.
- Participates in testing activities.
- Applies good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area.
- Assesses the applicability of previous or similar experiences and evaluates options under circumstances not covered by procedures.
- Exchanges ideas and information in a concise and logical manner.
Essential Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the Financial IT industry
- General experience in supporting server, desktop, network, voice and business type systems
- Basic knowledge/understanding of Supporting Apple systems
- Basic knowledge/understanding of Audio Visual Equipment
