Summary

Based in London this contract position will report into the International Payroll Manager and will be responsible for the timely, accurate and compliant delivery of end to end payroll processing for multiple UK monthly payrolls. The successful candidate will have strong UK Payroll knowledge; maintain a high level of confidentiality and data compliance in accordance with UK company policy, country regulations and applicable tax laws.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Perform and analyze all key activities associated with Payroll to ensure the timely & accurate payment of UK employees (This includes, but is not limited to: data gathering from multiple sources, preparation of input templates for ADP, review, validation and balance of trial payrolls, and receiving appropriate approval from the business for employee payment).
  • Develop & maintain strong relationships with local country HR, Finance & ADP Partner
  • Ensure timely payroll related reporting to the business
  • Respond timely to ad hoc queries & requests (from employees, payroll providers, internal partners)
  • Manage the weekly time and Labor reporting process & working with the benefits team to ensure accuracy on benefit time reporting
  • Assist International Payroll Manager as necessary.
  • Participate in system/process/reporting improvements as agreed
  • Special Projects as assigned

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Required:

  • Demonstrable experience in payroll processing within the UK
  • Ability to interact with remote workforce, while working independently
  • Ability to calculate manual payments
  • Self-Motivated
  • Adaptable and able to prioritize workload.
  • Ability to adhere to strict timelines
  • Strong Sense of urgency and accountability
  • Experience of end to end processing of either multi-country or multi-sited UK payrolls.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word
  • Proactive with excellent Communication/follow up skills.

Desired:

  • Experience with ADP Payroll, or similar in-depth experience with another major payroll vendor desired
  • An understanding of International ( EMEA and APAC) payroll requirements and the differences between countries and regions desired
  • PeopleSoft experience
  • CIPP qualification
