Our Client is looking for a Oracle DBA/System Administrator
The work is within the educational system and initially for a period of 3 months renewable.
The role is responsible for system management, configuration, installation, maintenance, tuning and support of the database environments. (Postgres, Oracle and MS SQL)
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of the database environment
- Works closely with support team
- Work with the development and technical colleagues to manage and implement database changes
- Liaises with users to ensure fast and satisfactory problems resolution
Technical skills:
- Proven Postgres Database Administration experience with a bank or financial institution
- Knowledge and experience of Oracle Database Administration
- Proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator with experience of installing, configuring, managing and supporting Oracle RDBMS across 9i/10g/11g/12c
- Extensive experience with RMAN, Dataguard, Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 10G/12C and RAC
- Experience of managing multiple RDBMS across varied versions and platforms (9i/10g/11g/12c)
- Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and presentation

- Spanish language skills
