Senior supply chain functional consultant (JDA ESP experience)- 3 month contract
Our client requires a senior supply chain functional consultant to be based at their offices in Amsterdam on a 3 month contract.
Your role and responsibilities as the Supply chain functional consultant will be:
Initiate detailed solution design discussions/activities in parallel to the current software vendor selection process.
Key reason for this is that the current Level 5 processes defined are system agnostic and on quite a high-level still. ie a mapping between the processes defined and the application is yet to be done.
At the same time, there seems to be a view/perception that after the software vendor (and later on the delivery partner) selection, they can start straight away with the so-called Construct/Build'-phase.
Obviously, without having completed a detailed solution design this will be a challenge.
The essential skills and experience required for the Supply chain functional consultant are:
Experienced consultant/manager with a solid S&OP/SCP background
Strong PM-communication and stakeholder management skills.
This role is not related to a specific technique like SAP, Oracle, but more from process point of view.
