Description

  • Monitor the predictive power of the existing algorithms by reviewing, statistically validating the existing statistical code and updating as needed
  • Partner with business, data, technology, statistical and other SMEs to develop hypothesizes regarding what makes an Investigator Site Healthy
  • Will partner with data/system SMEs to develop a robust understanding of available data attributes and limitations
  • Be responsible for data analytics/data science on massive sets of complex and sometimes, unstructured data to prepare for statistical analysis
  • Partner with Statistician Lead to leverage statistical methodologies, techniques and analytics to deliver deep insights into Site Health ie epidemiology/correlations to relevant outcomes
  • Writing new or modifying existing statistical code, currently using R as programming language
  • Collaborate with Statistician Lead to interpret, write-up and present results of conducted analyses
  • Maintain and update all relevant statistical documentation.
  • Manage projects to ensure they are delivered successfully and in a timely manner.
SKILLS:

General Background/Experience:
  • The ideal candidate will have 6 months, or more, work placement/intern/post-graduate work in an epidemiological research environment (regulatory, pharmaceutical or CRO)
  • Experience working in data mining or working with big data
  • Well-developed planning, observation, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience designing, implementing and writing statistical analysis plans
  • The ability to articulate complex statistical/technical issues to non-experts
  • Project management, time management and technical capabilities
  • The ideal candidate will have Pharmaceutical/CRO experience in order to have a good understanding of the processes associated with the conduct of clinical trials and operations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, this includes presentations skills (English)
  • Must be capable of building strong relationships with colleagues and service providers
  • A knowledge of working across international boundaries and cultures
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and working in a complex Matrix environment
  • Must be comfortable interacting at all levels of technology teams (project managers, database designer, information architecture, multilayer off-shore support centers, etc.)
