Description
Responsibilities include:- Perform structural system analysis and simulation for structural integrity, response, performance, and service life of components and systems.
- Provide product design and development teams with timely conclusions and best actionable recommendations and solutions.
- Work to continuously improve the accuracy of analysis processes and tools.
Required:
- MS in Mechanical Engineering or Related Engineering Field.
- Minimum 2 years industrial experience in structural analysis.
- Two years industrial experience in structural analysis, preferably with a focus on thermal mechanical analysis and/or dynamic analysis.
- Understanding of dynamics, heat transfer, material properties, and fatigue.
- Experience with structural simulations for static, vibration, transient dynamic, heat transfer, boundary and material nonlinear, fracture and fatigue life, bolted joint, and welded structures.
- Experience with ABAQUS and Hypermesh.
- PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering or Related Engineering Field.
- Experience with FE-Safe and I-DEAS/NX.
- Experience in machine dynamic simulation.
- Experience in non-metalic structural simulation, user defined material behavior modelling, and component interaction modelling.
- Experience in machine and structural design and validation.
- Pro/E skills sufficient for FE model preparation.
