Description
This person will work with us during our Cisco/Genesys roll out next year. Our team needs assistance with questions and decisions regarding our new Cisco VoIP system.Responsibilities to include:
- Performing client consultation including supporting the voice infrastructure, designing, planning, and implementation
- Design Cisco voice technologies, including Cisco Unified Communications products such as communications manager (CUCM), Unity/Unity Connection, and CER
This person will need to have a strong working knowledge of Cisco telephony design and implementation experience. This candidate also needs to a strong understanding of the telephony aspects: Device Pools, Dial Rules, Unity Connection, CTI Integration, and QoS as examples.
Qualifications:
- Hands on experience with Cisco and Unity
- Minimum of three years related experience in infrastructure/network environments
- High-end experience in PBX and/or Call Center systems engineering experience
- At least one year of consulting experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; equivalent experience acceptable
- CCVP or CCIE certification preferred
- Experience with voice mail, unified messaging, ACD and IVR systems
- A professional business attitude and courteous manner toward clients, partners, and co-workers
- Ability to work weekends and/or off hours as necessary to meet clients' needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills which include demonstrated experience presenting technology recommendations from a business perspective
- Experience with Genesys integration with Cisco
