Description
Systems Engineer required for a leading Aerospace company based in Cheltenham committed to developing innovative Aviation solutions to support the development and verification of safety-critical, Real Time Embedded Avionic Cockpit Display Systems.
Key skills:
- Full Systems life cycle; Software/Hardware requirements capture, analysis and management throughout the full life cycle, design, development, implementation, integration, formal verification/reviews, test activities and documentation performed to DO-178/DO-254/ARP 4754 and DO-160
- Communications Involving ARINC 429 and 664
- V&V tasks to review test scripts against DOORS based requirements
- Resolving issues in requirements, design and/or implementation
- Inside the box, hands on technical activities
- Related documentation
Knowledge and Experience:
- Systems Requirements capture and generation
- DOORS
- Communication protocols, ARINC Protocols )
- Experience working on displays, civil or military
- Experience working on power programmes
- Aerospace systems design, development, verification and test to safety critical standards
- Experience with software/hardware requirements and design
- Configuration control/management
- Communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Flexible, hard working and professional attitude
- Proactive, personable and innovative
Ideally with knowledge of any of the following avionic systems:
- Electrical power systems
- Display systems
- Digital control systems experience
- Navigation Guidance
- Primary Flight Displays (PFD)
- Aircraft Power Distribution systems experience
- IMA (Integrated Modular Avionics)
