Role - Supply Chain SupportLocation - Co. Cork
Type - initially 12 month contract
The Role:
This role will be to join a global pharmaceutical leader and be responsible for supporting planning, logistics and procurement activities within the supply chain function, eg data administration on the MRP system, order entry and maintenance, administration of vendor initiated changes. Reporting to the Planning Manager
Primary activities/responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with cGMP, EHS and other business compliance regulations
Planning, procurement and inventory management activities for 5 key products.
Support on time supply of Commercial and NPI products to Global customer base.
Collaboration with multiple site functions (eg Quality, IPT, Logistics) to ensure visibility to supplier driven changes.
Identify continuous improvement activities to increase flexibility, eliminate waste, reduce cycle times, inventory and cost
Coaching others by sharing their skill-set and expertise.
Experience
Demonstrated knowledge in supply chain or operations role in the Pharmaceutical industry or a similar operating industry
Capability to interact and communicate with all levels of business leadership and operational teams.
Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (3rd level qualification).
Desirable: Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt.
PC Skills: MS Excel, Word, MS Project, etc
Strong organizational skill set
Demonstrated ability to realize improvement initiatives.
Demonstrated successes in a team environment, such as project teams, Six Sigma team, PITs etc.
MRP (material requirement planning) experience.
