My client is renowned for being a global leader for automotive R&D and test and following an extremely successful 2014, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to work within their future projects team within the automotive sector.
Some key information regarding the position is as follows:
Role & Responsibilities
*Lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver Hybrid and Electric Vehicle projects using a V-cycle engineering approach and following a gated engineering process where appropriate.
*Develop requirements and system architectures, with support from technical specialists where appropriate.
*Work with project manager to build a team with the right collaboration of skills.
*Allocate work and deliverables to work package teams.
*Work with project managers to develop and refine timing plans and monitor progress.
*Report concerns, plan and instigate remedial action where necessary.
*Ensure verification and validation strategies are developed and applied to an appropriate standard.
