Provide business-side support of Oracle eBusiness Suite and other related financial systems. This position will assist the business with enhancements, analysis, and design solutions across multiple systems. This position will also be responsible for gathering enhancement requests, prioritization, requirements documentation, reporting on status of requests, communication, and general business-side support related to multiple financial systems. Ability to work on systems special projects as needed. Candidate is expected to understand systems projects from both the business and technical perspectives.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Monitor data back-feeds and data processing of procurement and catalogue systems to ensure correct processing of data.
  • Work with 3rd party vendors that support business applications as needed.
  • Responds to business questions from customers.
  • Present updates on project progress, problems and solutions.
  • Implement and manage project change requests and work effectively with IT to help ensure enhancements meet requirements.
  • Lead systems special projects for customers.
  • Report on and track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
  • Gathers business requirements from customers. Documents business needs, writes narratives and requirements documents, captures screen shots, and analyzes alternative solutions.
  • Coordinates, prioritizes and reports on enhancement requests, acceptance testing and enhancement plans.
  • Ensures that IT deliverables meet business customer's needs, due dates and priorities.
  • Create and execute test plans.
  • Quality assurance of enhancements and documentation.
  • Articulate business reasons for enhancements.
  • Assist in developing business cases where needed.
  • Respond to business user system functional and technical questions.
  • Research and offer suggestions for functionality based on Oracle Standard Applications (rather than customizations).
  • Resolve business technical issues through the IT departments and with 3rd party vendors that support business applications of customers.
  • Perform and facilitate User Acceptance Testing.
  • Perform business-side analysis of upgrades, enhancements and break/fixes.
  • Key resource for systems special projects of business customers. Must be able to lead special projects from a business and system capacity.
  • Meet with business users to gather and understand user requirements, and translate into narratives and requirements documents.
  • Coordinate and facilitate Business User Meetings/Requirements Gathering/Communication Plans for roll-out of enhancements and break-fix projects.
  • Participate in business meetings to understand goals and objectives - offer suggestions for process improvements and effective usage of technology.
  • Assist in prioritizing enhancement requests with business customers.
  • Modify existing reports and dashboards as required by users.
  • Write ad-hoc queries and reports as needed to support user departments.
  • Support system enhancements.
  • Coordinating special projects and enhancements of iProcurement.
  • Detailed UX testing.
  • Interact with Procurement team to address any issues.
  • Help with ad-hoc reporting.
SKILLS:

Skills/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Accounting, or Finance required
  • At least 3-5 years of support experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) required
  • Experience with Oracle iProcurement preferred
  • Experience with OBIEE toolset a plus
  • Experience with Tririga a plus
  • 5 to 10 Years of relevant business experience
  • Outstanding analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to drive towards completion dates independently
  • Ability to negotiate, handle conflicting groups and drive towards consensus
  • Experience working with business areas and other non-technical groups, translating requests into requirements
  • Ability to communicate and research issues across multiple departments
  • CPA/MBA a plus.
  • Ability to deliver results quickly, and work effectively with business users.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A great teacher who can share their knowledge of modules and train others within the Financial Systems Team.
  • Solid knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to dig into technical problems and understand root causes.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Need someone who can act as a good liaison between business stakeholders and IT.
