Our leading international Semiconductor partner is looking for a Project Manager for their Small Signal department. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for the execution of high-tech development projects and ensuring that the project deliverables are achieved within agreed time, costs and quality levels.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :
Project Execution:
• Execution of Project Management according to the BL’s quality requirements (BCaM, CMMi).
• Create and maintain full scale project plans and reports progress.
• Ensure that planned project activities are executed timely and efficiently to meet the production start and release schedule.
• Professional execution of risk management.
• Ensure design and implementation meets DfX requirements.
• Active participation in improvement activities defined in the project management team.
Team building
• Lead a cross functional engineering team for product development (RF design, product & test engineering, quality engineering, applications and operations).
• Inspire, encourage and drive the team members, ensuring a high level of motivation and commitment.
• Recognise potential and actual team conflict, supporting and coaching the team and individuals, helping them to maintain team focus and achieve solutions together.
• Work collaboratively with other project managers to continuously improve personal skills and methods.
Interface to Stakeholders
• External alignment to meet customer requirements. Drive a close co-operation with customers and suppliers during the development project.
• Internal alignment on resource-demand to ensure that team members have the tools needed.
• Timely escalation of issues and risks to resolve project issues.
• Ensure compliance to product policies, guidelines and quality targets and Specifications.
• Provide input to product line roadmap for future product developments.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Bachelor’s or University degree in technical discipline (preferably in electronics)
• Several years of experience in directing projects in relevant technological areas (semiconductor or electronics).
• Experience in leading multi-disciplinary and multi-site teams of technical professionals, coaching skills required. Able to delegate.
• Power of persuasion, able to convey enthusiasm, people manager.
• Knowledge of project management methods, risk management, costs estimation techniques
• PMI certified or similar project management methodology certificate
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written in English
