For our banking client site in Zurich we are looking for aGerman Speaking Senior Project Manager - Database Automation Strategy (2661)
Job Responsibilities:
To assume responsibility for the project management of the individual work streams as directed by the Programme Director
To achieve high performance on all aspects of project delivery, in line with commitments made
Define, communicate, execute & monitor the project plan, schedule and prioritise specific and individual activities in line with agreed requirements and define appropriate work packages and key milestones
Maintain effective and good working relationships with programme and project stakeholders
Manage the project through risk planning establishing appropriate mitigations and contingency plans communicated to the Programme Manager and key Stakeholders
Establishing and embedding benefit realisation management for the project using an appropriate and industry recognised methodology for the purpose of delivering the strategic objectives defined in the programme
To meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
Education and Experience (10 years+):
Proven qualification in project management or equivalent manager position
Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
Direct work experience in project management capacity
Proven experience in people management
Proven experience in strategic planning
Proven experience in risk management
Proven experience in change management
Proven experience in IT infrastructure and DBMS (Oracle and MS-SQL)
Proficient in project management software
Fluent English and German
The ideal candidate would be someone with strong communication & problem solving skills and a team player with good conflict management.
