Management Accountant - 6 months - Warwick - Negotiable Rate

A leading Energy and Utility client of Hyphen is looking for a Management Accountant to join their site in Warwick. The client is looking for candidates to display a strong Accountancy acumen, ideally working within a similar Management Accountancy role.

We are ideally looking for someone to join our Flexible Resource Pool in the Record To Report Service Delivery Team, ideally with a Contractor to Permanent mind-set. Staff in this pool have the opportunity to take placements across the Finance Function gaining experience and developing a variety of skillsets.

Experience Required:-

*Comfortable working with senior stakeholders - with good listening skills as part of the role will be to liaise with stakeholders to understand, define, build and then present the developed product.
* Member of a professional accounting body (eg CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or
CPA) or relevant experience.

The assignment that we specifically require someone for at this point is within the Performance Reporting Team. This team use systems such as Microsoft Excel, SAP and BI to pull together key management reports for finance functions across the client.

The nature of this work can be quite technical and knowledge of system data, and how it can be used, is necessary. Training will be provided however we would ideally like people who are comfortable with, or happy to learn quickly;

Key Tasks:

Specific to the Assignment advertised for here;

*Responsibility for 'Cost Transparency' - This will include liaising with business partners to ensure that the source data is accurate and maintained. As the project continues to evolve, there will be development requirements on the model that you will implement, ensuring that the model continues to work as expected.
*Meeting with internal stakeholders to define projects and then liaising with them throughout, whilst developing a product to their requirements. This could be delivered using a variety of systems, including Microsoft Excel, SAP and BI.
*Maintaining and updating existing models and tools used within the business. This would include evolution of developments, as well as debugging, rollover of models and accommodating structural changes within the business.
*Assisting with the automation of manual processes, using VBA and SAP. Guidance and support will be available, but the chosen candidate must be able to work on their own initiative, as you will be part of a project based team, who all deliver to tight deadlines.
*Working closely with the IS Business Partners, to assist with reporting and helping to understand the IS costs across the business, using the models and tools available, but also assisting with ad-hoc reporting when required.
*Working as part of a large team, you will be providing ad-hoc support to your colleagues, helping them to manage peaks in workload, to balance out the workload and ensure maximum efficiency across the team.
