A Nursery School in the London borough of Croydon is looking to recruit a Nursery Nurse to join its expanding team. This is a beautiful Nursery, with a really caring and friendly teaching staff. It was recently refurbished and has a fantastic large outdoor area for the children to play and learn in. The Manager is very passionate about the Nursery and will provide you with lots of support and training. Candidates with an NVQ Level 3 in Early Years would be ideal, but also experienced Teaching Assistants and applications from candidates with an interest in Early Years would be welcomed. Your role will involve: *Distributing and collecting lesson materials *Taking the initiative *Preparing indoor and outdoor areas for learning and play *Leading focus groups *Reading stories and leading play based activities Please note the following requirements prior to applying for this position: - You must have good spoken English; - You must have a minimum of 6 months child related experience; - Your CV must cover the last 10 years employment history and any employment breaks must be explained; - You need to supply two recent references of which one must be from a school setting; - This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS.
