Description
The responsibilities in the role include analysis, design, definition, development, configuration and deployment of OBIEE repositories, reports, dashboard, and ad-hoc queries
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, test, and deployment of custom reports
- Implement metadata layers including physical, business model, and presentation layers
- Create custom dashboards, KPI, and scorecards
- Provide technical support of BI systems and software
- Work with your team to plan delivery tasks and to track adherence to the plan
- Raise issues in a timely manner and take steps to address
- Follow and contribute to improvements in the team's agile and engineering practices.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science or related fields)
- 5- 7 years IT experience with at least 3+ years experience in SQL and formal reporting (eg, OBIEE, WebFOCUS) is required
- Knowledge and experience of working in an Agile development methodology
- Knowledge of the Financial Services industry
Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledgeable with report support & development in BI Reporting Tools
- Strong SQL and stored procedure development experience, especially for data mining
- Familiarity with Oracle database and PL/SQL.
- OBI admin and presentation Servers
- Familiarity with OBI Server, Answers, BI Publisher
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Proven customer facing skills
- Full project life cycle experience
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
