Charging Analyst - 3 months initially - Warwick - Negotiable Daily Rate
A leading Energy and Utility client of Hyphen is looking for a Charging Analyst to join their team in Warwick as part of a large scale Finance Project within the Business.
Job purpose:
To ensure that all regulated electricity transmission income and associated balance sheet items (exceeding £1.6bn) are appropriately accounted for and reported.
Key skills/Experience
*Experience of routine financial accounting
*Experience of numerical or statistical analysis with an eye for detail, including proven skills in Excel
*Experience of dealing with auditors and working in a SOX controlled environment
*Knowledge of the principles by which charges are applied for electricity transmission and the obligation of users to secure their liabilities through the use of appropriate credit tools and allowances would be beneficial
*Record of developing working relationships quickly and effectively
*An ability to prioritise and manage own workloads
Degree or equivalent in a finance or business subject, with accountancy qualification preferred
Able to work in a fast-pace team environment under tight deadlines. Able to deliver results and stay on top of the deliverables with minimal supervision
Financial reporting, including income report, balance sheet reconciliation and month end
