CSS/HTML/Javascript Specialist needed for one of our clients in Brussels.
Job description
The consultant's main tasks will consist in assisting the client's Project Teams with:
- Assisting the project teams with upgrading their old web frontends as such that they are functional in all modern browsers (including Internet Explorer 11 and Chrome) and can be kept running for 5 to 10 more years.
Implementation of a next generation HTML4/CSS3 and + design for the client's web applications that will have a Front End with the focus on mobile first.
Technical & Functional Skills
Profile
In depth knowledge and at least 3 years of experience in creating web frontends in HTML4/CSS3 and +.
Experience with creating web-frontends in HTML4/CSS3 and + for mobile devices (tablets and smartphones).
At least 3 years of knowledge of JavaScript. Knowledge of JQuery is a big surplus.
Knowledge of webservices, and RESTful webservices in particular is a surplus.
The chosen candidate will also act as a coach towards the client's project teams and should as such have good communication skills.

- Fluent HTML4/CSS3 and + design for next generation of client web applications (mobile first)
- Upgraded HTML/CSS/JavaScript for the old school web frontends of the first generation (apps with 10+ years of age)
