CAD Draftsman/CAD Engineer/CAD Technician

Description

Mechanical CAD Draftsman required with Solidworks/Solidedge experience for a leading company within the Engineering sector.

The core responsibilities of the role include:

• Updating, modifying and completing CAD (Solidworks/Solidedge) models & production drawings to meet quality standards both during & after manufacture.

• Close liaison with contracts engineers and manufacturing teams, customers and suppliers

The successful candidate will ideally:

• Be qualified to minimum HNC level in a relevant engineering discipline, ideally mechanical engineering.

• Be fully competent and experienced in Solidworks (3D) and AutoCAD (2D) with a good understanding of engineering principles.

• Have the ability to produce high quality accurate engineering drawings in support of the company's activities.

• Have the ability to work on your own initiative and to work to deadlines to ensure the design is delivered on time and to the right quality.
