For one of my clients i am recruiting for a SQL DBA for a contract role of 6 months with the option to extend.
General
- High sense of ownership, excellent problem-solving skills & taking initiatives of customer request
- Assess risks and criticality of issues to appropriately prioritize issues
- Having skill to handle high priority situation independently
- Experience with working in a critical production environment
- Good teaming skills: strong team worker & leader
- Being able to transfer technical experiences and knowledge to other team members, coaching
- Flexible to work in Different Shifts between 07:00h and 19:00h
- Flexible to work out of business hours, including weekends.
- Min. 3 years experience. in multi customer environment
- Fluent in English, both writing and speaking.
Good knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus
SQL Server
Maintaining a SQL Server Business Intelligence environment with Windows/Linux in a multi-domain/multi-customer environment
- 3-5 years Microsoft SQL Server ( 2000, 2005, 2008R2 and 2012)
- SQL Server installation, patching, and upgrades
- Experience with maintaining large databases
- Transactional replication and database mirroring
- Database backup/restore, knowledge of Tivoli Data protector for SQL
- Good working knowledge of database security concepts
- SQL Server Performance monitoring and problem debugging
- SQL Server SSRS, SSIS and SSAS - SQL server installation in Microsoft or symantec cluster
- Good knowledge of Tivoli monitoring tool
