Description
Following a highly successful 2014, my client based within the automotive domain is currently seeking an experience Simulation & Modelling Engineer with Hybrid/Electric Vehicle/Batter or fuel cell experience to join their expanding team based in the Coventry area.
Some key information regarding the position is as follows:
Duration: 6 months rolling
Rate: Circa £39ph
Role & Responsibilities
*Taking a principal role in developing simulations and control strategies for electronic control systems predominantly in the electric/hybrid vehicle domain.
*Modelling vehicle hybrid/electric propulsion systems including hybrid control and battery management strategies
Experience Required
*Recent experience of simulation model development using Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, SimScape or similar for the development of plant models and control strategies.
*Analysis of results
*Producing documentation
*Understanding of Systems Engineering approach
*Working with requirements and contributing to requirements capture at the system and component level.
Desirable Experience
*Domain knowledge of electric or hybrid vehicles
*Development of hybrid control strategies
*Understanding of vehicle control architectures (eg ECU functions and networks)
