Description
In this role, you are part of a team that provides the systems that allow critical decisions to be made by one of Queensland's largest service providers. Your extensive experience with the Oracle Developer suite of products applied in large enterprise environments is critical to this role.
Your key responsibilities are:
- Autonomous development of Oracle software solutions on the Unix platform, utilising the Oracle Developer Suite of products (Oracle APEX inclusive);
- Assist the design, development and enhancements of the existing applications suite;
- Provide programming services in accordance with the applications development standards and guidelines, and/or implemented trends;
- Extensive engagement with key stakeholders on a range of functional and technical matters
As the successful applicant, you will have:
- Proven knowledge and practical experience in undertaking complex systems analysis of existing HSU applications (Oracle forms and APEX)
- Proven knowledge and practical experience in relational databases preferably Oracle 10g
- Proven knowledge and practical experience in design, development, testing, deployment and support of applications on top of the Oracle 10g Sun Solaris 10 technology stacks
- Proven knowledge and practical experience in a senior level of Oracle applications development utilising, Oracle developer Suite 10 (PLSQL inclusive), Oracle APEX, Sun Solaris 10
- Proven knowledge and practical experience in accurately estimating application development tasks and proactively managing work load to meet agreed timeframes, budgets and priorities
- Excellent communications skills, including good technical writing skills
