Supply Purchase Manager - West Midlands - Contract

Amoria Bond are looking for a Supply Purchase Manager for a Tier 1 automotive engineering organisation based in the West Midlands. The reason of the hire is to assist with a continuously growing workload. It will initially be a 6 month contract and likely to be extended. Our client is a leading automotive manufacturer and needs a Supply Purchase Manager who has engineering knowledge, and has worked within an engineering organisation, preferably a Tier 1 supplier.

The successful Supply Purchase Manager will be managing the full supply base, creating 'Readiness Plans', and reporting to both the purchasing and program teams.

Key Skills:

*Experience working within a large scale engineering or tier 1 automotive business
*Experience managing multiple suppliers
*Extensive experience working with readiness plans
*Experience dealing with launch readiness activities
*Technical parts analysis and sign off
*Plastics materials experience is desirable
*Commercially astute
*Exposure to OEM automotive program is desirable
