Enterprise Data Modeler (MDM, ETL, Oracle, Erwin)

Responsibilities:

. Create and maintain logical and physical database Enterprise data models that are compliant with industry standards.
. Define and maintain corporate metadata definitions for enterprise data stores within a metadata repository.
. Understand the AS-IS data models from various Legacy systems and highlight Data architectural issues
. Facilitate data requirements meetings with business and technical stakeholders resolving conflicts to drive decisions and consensus.
. Establish and maintain comprehensive data model documentation including detailed descriptions of business entities, attributes, and data relationships as well as the definition of business rules governing the integrity, archiving, and audit requirements of the data.
. Analyze existing systems using manual or automated data analysis/profiling to reverse engineer data requirements.

Requirements:

* Educational qualification: BS/MS degree in Engineering/Computer Science.
* Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels within the organization
* Understanding of enterprise modelling concepts, especially Datamodelling of BPM solutions (like Pega)
* Minimum five year's data modelling experience in transactional and operational, analytical, and MDM solutions.
* Minimum five year's Relational database (Oracle or MS SQL Server) experience (SQL scripts, stored procedures, triggers, etc.).
* Hands-On experience 1 or 2 Datamodelling tools (ERWIN, IBM Infosphere etc.)
* Knowledge of database and software development life cycle design
* 3 years experience within the insurance/utilities industry, high level knowledge products, policy, third parties and transactions data.
* Experience with ETL, data quality, data profiling and ad-hoc query tools (preferred).

Other Skills (desired):

. Consulting experience with a large multi-national is a plus
. Prior experience with DWH Industry specific Models, developing solution frameworks, productivity enhancements, and performance tuning frameworks is a plus.
