Electronics & Software Systems Test Engineer/Automotive/Systems Test
I have an Initial 12 month contract based in Lancashire. with a good rate for the right engineer
The position is for a Software and electronics systems test engineer.
Role:
- To test and validate electronics, electrical and software based vehicle systems.
- With other test and development activities/stakeholders via bench, HIL and vehicle validation.
- To develop the HIL capability including integration of additional vehicle systems.
- To perform analysis tasks including system FMEA's and six sigma techniques.
Skills Required:
- Experience with CAN including test ie CANaylser, CANoe.
- Previous Experience in the Automotive Industry, Testing.
- Previous Experience in software testing in relevant industries.
- Develop the HIL capability
- Perform analysis tasks including system FMEA's and six sigma techniques
- Previous experience with requirement capture, DOORS.
- Experience with HIL is necessary.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with CAPL Programming/Scripting
