Video on Demand/VOD Operations Supervisor
Location: Winnersh, Reading
Duration: Initial 6 months

EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY: This is an exciting new opportunity for a Video on Demand/VOD Operations Supervisor for an initial 6 month assignment for one of Sopra Steria's media clients.
The Video on Demand Operations Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating in-life changes to the Video on Demand service. The Video on Demand Operations Supervisor will work closely with a number of other business areas to ensure the successful technical delivery of the product changes and the readiness of the wider business to support the changes.
The Video on Demand/VOD Operations Supervisor's responsibilities will include:
- Working collaboratively with a variety of teams to define UX specifications, prioritise features, build consensus and coordinate the testing and release of new features, content and product behaviour
- Facilitate communication throughout the change delivery process between a variety of internal teams
- Maintain a constant requirements backlog and assign requirements to key VoD releases
- Manage and coordinate the testing requirements for changes with 3rd party testing team
- Understand and translate product and commercial requirements in to direct instruction to technical areas to ensure delivery against product needs
Video on Demand/VOD Operations Supervisor Skills:
- Background in TV Video on Demand (either through a platform or a broadcaster) is preferred
- Project support experience
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and diplomacy skills
- Diligence and leadership skills
