The IT Risk & Control Analyst performs an important function in the Protection department within the client's IT Security organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Review change requests for the Firewall rules for accuracy, authenticity and completeness based on network topology, policies and standards.
  • Assess risk with change requests based on the policies and standards.
  • Review and approve/reject change requests.
  • Work with various teams involved in the process for problem resolution, enhancement and support.
  • Work with the Global Firewall Team to implement Firewall rules.
  • Work with the Global Team for new and ongoing projects for effective security operations.
  • Implement updates and upgrades in the Network Connectivity Request (INCR) domain related to tools, network topology, and risk assessment.
  • Provide training for the INCR process
  • Manage the Firewall Recertification Project which includes project management and reporting
  • Must have a solid grasp of TCP/IP and network security.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years working experience in Information Security Technology field.
  • Experience with IT Security, Network and System terminology.
  • Experience in data networking.
  • Experience working with global organizations as shift work may be required.
  • Written and verbal fluency in English is important as training will be required over the phone.
  • Flexible to adapt to existing applications and workflows.
  • Experience working with users with novice network knowledge.

Education/Certification:

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE)
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
