Description
PTS' client who are undergoing expansion and restructure within their teams, are currently looking for IT Server Engineer Professional to join it's Servers and Storage Team for the centralised support and Server needs of the organisation. The IT Server Engineer will be responsible for maintaining SAN's, working with VMWare, Centos and 5.x, monitoring and assisting with the implementation of the EMC platform, and collaboration with other infrastructure teams, helpdesk teams etc.
Key Duties:
Day to day monitoring of the Server systems, systems improvements and enhancing the organisation's security.
Work closely with the Team lead to support the core builds and applications ensuring corporate standards are maintained.
Work with VMWare, 5.x, and Skills in Centos required for the role.
Maintain relationships with 3rd parties, and be very customer focused
Ideal candidates will have proven experience of working within an enterprise environment with skills in Centos advantageous.
The role is based In central Manchester, offers some flexi-time, standard hours and rate up to £220 per day and initially offered on a 6 month basis with scope for a renewal.
