Our client, a multinational telecommunications industry, is currently recruiting a Software Developer to join their team in their offices in Dublin, Ireland.
The successful candidate will be working with a dynamic team that develops Mediaroom IPTV.
The key skills our client is looking for include:
- Specification
- Architecture
- Design
- Development
- Unit testing
- Integration of cloud services and next generation IP television tablet, phone and Embedded STB clients
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience in at least one of C#, C++, Java
- Experience in Object Oriented Design and unit/component testing
- An understanding of web technologies and development of performant and scalable web solutions
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience in Windows Azure or alternative cloud platforms
- Experience in development for IOS/Android based devices
- Experience in agile development eg Scrum
- Experience in the development of DVB, IPTV and Internet TV client or server products
- Experience in working across disciplines and geographical borders
