The Custom Build department of HAAGEN is looking for a fulltime:
International Project Manager @ HAAGEN Baarle-Nassau
You are part of the Custom Build operation, which has focus on building large scale, and customized fire training tools outside Europe. Your responsibility is managing, coordinating and influencing the process from negotiating with internal and external customers on project specifications, milestones, prices and other deliverables until the installation and maintenance. This must result in achieving the calculated margins and on time delivery. You will report to the Project Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Internal coordinating with the office project manager, project controller, engineers, (possibly) based engineer and support staff
- External coordinating with the local based customer, customer’s contractor(s), customer’s architect or project management bureau, and the government when needed?
- Identifying and coordinating activities of specialist subcontractors locally who can support the installation;
- Sourcing and price negotiation
Travelling is part of the job. An average project takes about 3 – 6 months and it’s your responsibility to decide the percentage of your time you will spend on travelling.
