IT Project Manager for an Application Platform Development Team (2670)

Description

For a long term project at our banking client site in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

Senior Project Manager in Business Intelligence Reporting (2670)

Scope of work:
End-2-end Project Management of an application platform development team
Manage multiple projects implemented on the application platform
Manage change programs in the teams related to process improvement, operational maturity and SDLC improvements (i.e. Agile, SAFE)
Manage stakeholders across the different projects both in the business and within IT
Manage the relation and dependencies between dependent IT teams
Run project meetings and governance forums efficiently and effectively
Manage the budget and costs allocated to each project
Understand the end to end project plan for each project, managing according to the appropriate software lifecycle
Manage issues / risks on projects with timely issue escalations and suggestions for issues resolution.
Provide periodic status reports to program lead, stakeholders, and various governance forums
Interface with other teams on cross-functional team projects.
Effective evaluation of different process and/or technology solutions.
Perform root cause analysis of issues related to data or business requirements. Follow through on issues and open item with multiple stakeholders globally and develop solutions, propose solutions, and facilitate agreeing a conclusion
Your qualifications:
Strong Project management and people management skills with proven track record of managing large, complex projects
Change Management Skills
Master in Agile methodologies
Good knowledge of different sofware lifecycles
Strong understanding in requirements and processing
Ability to work effectively in a complex, time critical and pressured environment
Ability to work across an International team with experience in managing offshore resources
Proven ability to drive changes within teams both culturally and in terms of process
High analytical and strategic thinking
Strong knowledge of project management discipline and fundamentals
Business Development and/or BA background would be beneficial
Banking background would be a plus
Fluent English, German a plus
