For a project at our banking client site in Zurich, we are looking for a

Requirement Engineer with experience in derivatives, risk and exposure calculation (2671)

In the role as Requirement Engineer you will work in the area of Trading Limit Systems (Risk Management system, principally for OTC derivatives). You provide standard requirements engineering deliverables (like Use Case Model, Use Cases, User Stories Business Rule Specifications, Screen Specifications, Non Functional Requirements Specifications, etc.) on time and with high quality to ensure business sign-off.

Scope of work:
- Elicit, analyze, document and validate business requirements, conditions and priorities within an application development project in the Credit risk Domain
- Ensure that specified requirements are transmitted entirely and correctly to the development and test team members by writing clear and detailed functional specifications
- Support developers and testers by resolving business issues that come up during the technical implementation
- Support the test team in testing activities, when necessary

Your qualifications:
Must skills
- Degree at university level (preferably in IT or Banking)
- 6 or more years of experience in requirements engineering in application development projects
- Know-how and practice in derivatives, as well as in risk and exposure calculation
- Development or system analysis background
- UML knowledge / experience, Data modelling
- SQL knowledge
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Soft skills to handle stakeholders with different background (Business Project Managers, User Representatives, Programmers, Offshore resources, Testers etc.)
- Experience in banking or finance industry
- Strong communications and customer orientation skills
- Fluent written and spoken English

Advantageous skills
- Experience in international projects
- Degree level qualification in computing
- Business engineering education and/or certificate
- FRM certificate
- Database skills, and experience in programming
- Experience of Agile
- Subversion or CVS
- Motivation to contribute to process improvements in an interesting environment
