Description
The purpose of this role specifically is to launch a new licensed global clothing brand within this global organisation portfolio. Clothing is an area of strategically significant growth for this company, and key to delivering this growth will be a winning launch marketing plan. Leveraging internal marketing and digital stakeholders to deliver, owning multiple ATL and BTL agency relationships with a £million+ budget, as well as managing a relationship with the brand owner are essential measures of success. The role will grow to include brand management of other licensed brands within the business and a this person will lead a team to develop this business area. This is a high profile role which affords high visibility amongst very senior stakeholders.
Other duites of the role include:
- Creating the customer strategy for the brand - which customer segments will it service and how will our communications plan support this?
- Working with multiple stakeholders across all business areas to agree a roadmap to launch and ensure positive contribution across multiple business functions
- Developing a strong and mutually rewarding relationship with the global brand owner
- Developing compelling and commercial launch plan and subsequent annual brand plans
- Bringing those plans to execution across all integrated channels, using internal stakeholders (eg internal CRM team) and external agencies (eg brand identity (packaging), advertising, PR)
- Day-to-day brand management of the brand
- Working in conjunction with trading managers to develop and execute ongoing plans as needed
- Understanding the unique nature of this project - how can we best place ourselves to launch a credible clothing offer when our channels do not naturally support this?
You must be able to start immediately and to be considered for the role you must have:
- Substantial experience in brand management, ideally across multiple different categories
- Has led a significant integrated brand campaigns in a large company (retailer preferred)
- At least 6 years experience in brand/marketing roles with clear progression shown in each
